The latest and greatest in the Gosselin saga involves Jon walking out on girlfriend Hailey Glassman during a heated interview about the future of their relationship. The interview will air on Wednesday night on Entertainment Tonight. Jon says:
“We’re going to take a break and decide. We’ll let Hailey decide on what she wants to do. … My life is so hectic right now I have to concentrate on my own decisions. … Maybe she wants to go get a job. Maybe she wants to date other people. Maybe she wants to experience life? Live on her own and do her own things. I don’t know. If I was 22, I would probably want a break too, because it is so much.”
But in response to that, Hailey claims that whenever she tries to leave Jon, he cries. “As hard as it is for us, he needs to go handle his stuff, be with his family and handle his divorce, and I need to go and be a 22-year-old and get my life back.”
During part of the interview it looks like the couple is going to break up for good. Then Hailey says, “I don’t want to do this on national TV. This is serious.”
Well yeah, no shit it’s serious, but you were the one who wanted to go on TV to do an interview all about your life with the famous Jon Gosselin, so what did you expect, Hailey?!
“I wanted to discuss this in private, but now it’s public. I’m getting frustrated, because it’s uncomfortable. This whole thing’s uncomfortable. I don’t like it. I mean, you’re telling me out there that you love me and you want to be with me, and then you…” Jon declares.
“I do love you, and you tell me you love me — we would love each other and we want to be with each other, but it’s not healthy!” Hailey responds. Oh this is a load of crap. What does she mean they love each other but it’s not healthy?
“I’m not talking anymore,” says Jon. But Hailey’s not done talking…she brings up Jon’s eight kids saying, “Don’t you want them to look up to you and say, ‘My daddy’s honest?’” Outraged, Jon fires back, “I’m not talking about this,” and then Jon storms off.
Wow. Talk about mature…Jon, don’t go on TV to talk about your personal shit if you can’t handle the questions or the criticism. Better yet, just don’t go on TV at all. Break up with your girlfriend, get a divorce from crazy Kate, and go see a therapist, Jon. Hailey, dump Jon’s pathetic ass and then go be a 22-year-old. You don’t need a 32-year-old husband with a demanding ex-wife that pays alimony and child support for eight kids.
