Miley Cyrus voted worst celebrity influence of 2009

Popstar Miley Cyrus has been voted the worst celebrity influence of 2009, even beating out Kanye West!!  With a vote on JSYK.com, 42 percent of the tween voters chose the Disney star as the worst influence, Britney Spears in second and Kanye West in third place.

Between dating a 20-year-old model, pole dancing, slutty performance outfits, and making “slant eyes” in a  snapshot that mocks Asians, the 16-year-old actress has racked up the points!!

But on the other hand, after 50,000 votes Miley was voted number four as favorite female artist, in line behind Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, and Beyonce.

“I think Miley is in an interesting space where she is trying to graduate from being ‘Hannah Montana’ and a Disney channel celebrity and coming into her own and having a career beyond Disney. I think her fans still want her to be the sweet Hannah Montana and she is trying to age up…Parents are definitely resisting it,” says editor of JSYK.com, Stephanie Cohen.

Britney Spears’ mom wants her to marry Jason Trawick

Pop princess Britney Spears is already being handed over to agent Jason Trawick for marriage.  In an interview with Us Weekly a source tells them Lynne Spears said, “’He’s the kind of man you would dream of your daughter marrying. The kids love him, and he’s stable.’ Most everyone else abandoned her, but Jason refused to be completely cut out of Britney’s life. He’s very protective of her.”

Well no shit he’s protective of her!!  He breaks off 10% of every penny that Brit makes!!  I would stand by her in her darkest moments too for that kind of cash!! And that’s your “dream” for your daughter…someone who is stable?  Shootin’ for the stars Lynne, nice work!!  Nothing like having some ambition.

I don’t know anything about Jason on a personal level, but from what I hear he truly cares for Brit and absolutely adores her two boys, Sean, 4, and Jayden, 3.  So we’ll see…whoever marries her better take care of her and treat her right…that’s our Britney we’re talking about!!

Does anyone this Jason looks very similar to ‘True Blood’s’ Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell)??

Pop princess Britney Spears has a new single out called ‘3’ and it was just released today!

Brit will be debuting a new album called ‘The Singles Collection’ that will feature 17 of her greatest hits and only one new song, ‘3.’

There will be two versions of the album.

“The Singles Collection” will be a standard album featuring 17 of her biggest hits and “3.” The second is an “ultimate fan box set” with all 29 of her singles, a DVD of her music videos, and a booklet featuring classic images.

I think I will buy BOTH!!

Pop princess Britney Spears is in Sin City Las Vegas this weekend wrapping up the second leg of her North American tour of “Circus” and she even took some time off to take her boys to the Sugar Factory candy store.

Britney, her dad, Jason Trawick and her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, all went together.

Brit reportedly spent $3,000 in the store buying all sorts of candy!! Sean Preston got the Halloween basket and Jayden James got some yellow and white candy. A source told People “She got a bunch of candy and shirts for her kids and got a bunch of the couture lollipops to give to her backup dancers.”

$3,000 on candy…that’s crazy, but not when you’re Britney Spears.

Celebrities Mel B, Miley Cyrus, and Barry Manilow were spotted at the Mandalay Theater over the weekend, watching Brit just like the rest of us!

Now she’s off to the land down under, Australia, to perform six “Circus” concerts before the tour officially wraps up.

We can safely say that we are just like kids in a candy store every time we see Brit perform.  She’s amazing…way to go on successfully completing your comeback!!

Britney Spears sings live during Circus tour in NC (video)

Pop princess Britney Spears never ceases to amaze her fans!  This time, Britney sang live during her performance in Greensboro, North Carolina while on the second leg of her Circus tour. She has lip synched the entire Circus tour, but afterward surprisingly took to a live mic and confidently sang Alanis Morissette’s ‘You Oughta Know.’

The Womanizer obviously shocked and impressed the crowd; after the performance they gave Brit a standing ovation filled with roaring applause.

We sure hope this isn’t the last time Britney Spears decides to sing live!  She did a great job and we want to hear more of it…this is just one more step in the right direction for Brit.

Our favorite pop princess Britney Spears was photographed with her two boys, sister Jamie Lynn and her daughter at a pool in Miami yesterday.  Brit was in a lavendar bikini while baby sister Jamie Lynn Spears was pictured in a white and gold bikini, and she is taking after big sis…Jamie got her 18-year-old post baby mama body back!

Looks like a fun day at the pool for the Spears sisters and their kids!!

Pop princess Britney Spears took her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, to see Shrek the Musical on Broadway in New York City Thursday.  She’s wearing a simple, green horizontal striped shirt, black jeans, and light brown leather cowboy-heeled boots.  The singer just finished a 3-day concert series at Madison Square Garden to kick off the second round of the North American Circus tour.

Britney’s been working so hard lately.  It’s great to see her enjoying time with her boys; she seems genuinely happy.  We love you Brit – you are our fav!!  Check out the additional photos below of Britney arriving at the show.

Heidi Montag wants to be the next Britney Spears

Heidi Montag performed her song ‘Body Language’ at the Miss Universe 2009 pageant at the Atlantis in the Bahamas last night, Sunday August 23, 2009.  Her performance was absolutely horrendous, but Heidi thought differently, taking her opinion to Twitter and tweeting, “last night was one of the best nights of my life!!!! i had so much fun! my first performance! thank you God!”

Wow, really?  I wonder if the good Christian girl also thanked God for her photo shoot with Playboy, or the soft core porn music video she filmed on the beach…? God works in mysterious ways.

When Access Hollywood asked Heidi was she thought her performance would do for her career, she responded by saying, “I grew up watching Britney Spears. That’s someone I inspire to be, you know, like, career wise. I think the world is ready for the next pop star and I’m ready to be the next pop galaxy, so here we go.”

That’s bananas!!  There is no way on God’s green Earth that “you know, like” fame whore Heidi Montag from The Hills will ever, ever, EVER be the next Britney Spears.  The world will never be ready for that.
