Rockstar Axl Rose is being sued for $1 million by two indie record labels, accusing the Guns N’Roses star of plagiarism, copying portions of songs by German music artist Ulrich Schnauss.
The two record companies, Independiente and Domino, have filed a lawsuit against both Guns N’ Roses and Universal Music Group, seeking $1 million in damages.
They are claiming that song ‘Riad N’ The Bedouins’ off their 2008 album ‘Chinese Democracy’ features portions of Ulrich’s tracks ‘Wherever You Are’ and ‘A Strangely Isolated Place’ that they used without permission.
