World famous celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz is at risk of losing all her photo rights.
The photographer sunk deep into debt and got a $24 million loan using her photo catalog worth an estimated $40 million and home as collateral. The loan payback is due Tuesday, September 8, 2009 and if she doesn’t pay it back, she risks losing the rights to her most famous photos.
Remember the infamous last photo of The Beatle’s star John Lennon before he was assassinated, or the controversial pic of pop tween star Miley Cyrus? How about a pregnant Demi Moore on the cover of Vanity Fair, or perhaps the cover of Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Born to Run?’
Yep, all Annie. She could lose all that, plus more. Let’s hope she pulls it together before Tuesday!!
