Former Victoria Secret model turned talk show host, Tyra Banks has recently lost 30 pounds but claims it wasn’t because of a diet.
“I do not believe in diets. I have been on diets in the past, and they are a bunch of bologna. This is a lifestyle change. It’s not about being skinny. It’s about getting in the best shape that you can be,” she announces on The Tyra Show, set to air Wednesday.
She’s been working with a nutritionist to re-evaluate her eating habits and keep a food diary. “I switched up my unhealthy eating habits for healthier eating habits, and I haven’t had a tummy attack since December ‘08…It’s about working with what you’ve got, and knowing, and learning what’s right for your body.”
It’s nice to see Tyra, a 5′ 9″ model, focus on health rather than just being skinny. And, she doesn’t want to lose her curves. ”I feel good about my curves and my imperfections — my booty, my boobs, my thighs — I embrace it all. Now I really can say … kiss my fit — and still fat — ass.”
