Actress Sandra Bullock and her husband, ‘Monster Garage’ Jesse James are in the middle of a messy custody battle over Jesse’s 5-year-old daughter, Sunny Lee James.
The couple were granted full custody of Sunny after her mother, former adult film star Janine Lindemulder, was sent to prison for tax evasion earlier this year.
Well Janine’s out of the big house and wants Sunny back. “My daughter and I are both very eager to get back to a normal, healthy, loving life,” she writes to the judge. She was given visitation rights on Sundays as long as her promised her new husband, felon Jeremy Aiken, did not have contact with her daughter or consume and drugs and alcohol. Jesse’s claiming Janine violated her custody terms and is taking her back to court claiming she is an unfit parent. Sandra’s work is being affected by the inconsistent parenting of Janine. When asked about the entire situation, she said:
“I myself have stopped working like I used to in order to be here with Jesse and the kids because we are on constant high alert. Never knowing the condition Janine will be in, and even more concerning, the condition Sunny will be in…The universe put this in our lap. I seemed to have stepped in right when I needed to be there. I now know that anything sweet, really sweet, that I have was nothing that I planned…I didn’t grow up thinking, ‘I’m gonna get married and have someone take care of me.’ I was good at bolting before. I didn’t want to do the work. Now I work at what I love. If I didn’t love him, I wouldn’t be putting in the effort. I do approach things differently now that I’m married. I would never do anything that would harm his heart.”
I love Sandra…and it’s sad that she is an even better mom to little Sunny than her real mother.
