Accused murderer of model Jasmine Fiore, Ryan Jenkins’s father is having a hard time accepting the actions of his son. In a statement to the Los Angeles Times, Dan Jenkins said, “if my son was guilty, he was crazy…He was not the boy we knew. The boy we knew was not capable of anything remotely close to this act.”
He continued, “You talk to everyone here who knew him before he went down there [Hollywood] and they’ll talk about a wonderful young man, a thoughtful man.” Dan Jenkins even says that his son would “faint at the sight of blood.”
Ryan Jenkins was suspected of murdering his ex-wife and model, Jasmine Fiore, removing her teeth and fingers, and disposing of her mutilated body in a trash bin in California. Ryan apparently hanged himself in a Canadian model room after fleeing the country.
Officials said yesterday that “at this present time the investigation into the circumstances of his death is continuing, but preliminary evidence suggests that he took his own life. Any further details will not be released at this time as this investigation remains in its infancy.”
