Here’s a good one for you. Earlier this month, the personal chef for American Idol judge Simon Cowell and former girlfriend Terry Seymour filed suit against the couple claiming that they wouldn’t return her running shoes that were equipped with $500 orthopedic insoles.
Hahahaha!
Well a settlement was reached on Monday and here’s what the chef won…are you ready?
The chef got her shoes back, $75 for court costs, and $9 for gas money. Jackpot! TMZ spoke to the chef saying, “I got my shoes back … yayyyyyyy!”
So was this a case of a cheap person wanting their shoes back or someone trying to make a publicity stunt for themselves? Here’s some advice…Walmart has that Dr. Scholl’s machine that you can buy customized inserts for like $50…and if you weren’t good enough to cook for Simon Cowell, I wouldn’t be parading myself around and suing the celebrity, thinking that the publicity will help your career.
I hope the $584 was worth your career image.
