First Lady Michelle Obama and media mogul Oprah Winfrey have untied forces to support the 2016 Olympics in Chicago.
The two powerhouses arrived in Copenhagen Wednesday to support the bid. Michelle Obama said, “So happy to be here and I’m so excited. We have a lot of work to do. We’re not taking anything for granted. I’m going to talk to some voters. Chicago is a wonderful host city, great people, great facilities. It knows about the sports and the hospitality is like no other and a city that works really well.”
The International Olympic Committee will make their decision on the location of the 2016 Olympics sometime this week. Cross your fingers…when both Lady O’s put their voice, money, and power behind something, it’s bound to happen!
