Oh no!!! British singing sensation Leona Lewis was punched in the face by a fan at her book signing yesterday.
Leona was signing copies of her new book ‘Dreams’ for fans at a shop in London when a man, Peter, reached the front of the line and lashed out!!
As she was running away Peter shouted, “I love you Leona!” and she responded, “I don’t love you!”
Leona’s security team immediately jumped on him and pinned the 5’6” man down.
Crazy!!
Several fans and witnesses commented, “It was horrendous. She let out a piercing scream and grabbed her temple. Security piled on this guy and Leona just started running,” witness Emily Rose said.
“This bloke looked like a nutcase. He really walloped Leona. She must have been in agony,” fan of the singer, Steve Caris added.
Leona’s spokesman released the following statement: “Leona is obviously shocked after yesterday but is OK. She would like to convey her thanks to everyone for their kind messages and support.”
Peter was arrested…thank God!
Poor Leona…we love her!!
