Pop and R&B singer Chris Brown is having trouble getting his fans to pay for his concert!! The singer’s attempting a comeback after his convicted physical assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna by kicking off his ‘Fan Appreciation’ tour next week, but Chris is not able to fill the seats.
The month long tour starts at the House of Blues in Houston on November 14, 2009 and will end at the Nokia Theater in NYC on December 15, 2009, but his shows aren’t even close to being sold out. A rep for the company said:
“This is definitely not the outcome [Chris' label] Jive Records hoped for. Chris lost a lot of fans after he assaulted Rihanna. And after that whole scandal, he’s not exactly kid-friendly. What parent would buy their children tickets to his concert? Dates are expected to sell out and given the economic climate, ticket sales are doing very well.”
Well no shit his fans have dropped!! Chris also has a new album coming out on December 8, 2009 called ‘Graffiti.’ If the album is a success, maybe he can get a bigger turnout for his final performance in NYC, then maybe he can gain more traction and control over his career.
