Our favorite television game show host Bob Barker from The Price Is Right has donated $3 million to help the injured American troops.
The 84-year-old animal-rights activist was a naval pilot in World War II and told Fox that he felt he needed to make a donation because of his own naval service. The money will help build a new hospital in Bethesda, Maryland that will help more than 300,000 injured military personnel, and that number increases every day.
The $60 million,72,000 square-foot facility will open next year, adjacent to the Walter Reed Center and will become the nation’s foremost facility for the research, diagnosis and treatment of brain trauma and injuries among American troops.
We love Bob!!
