TMZ recently posted an article revealing that DJ AM was “completely devastated” over the recent breakup with girlfriend Hayley Wood. She broke up with Adam Goldstein (DJ AM) just last week. He was reportedly suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSS) after a fiery plane crash he and Travis Barker survived last September; four others were killed.
TMZ writes, “DJ AM has been sober for nine years, but our sources say the breakup and the stress over the plane crash could have caused him to start using drugs again.”
After the news broke, Travis Barker’s ex-wife, Shanna Moakler took to Twitter:
“My deepest condolences for DJ AM, you were a great artist and will be severely missed. My thoughts and Prayers to his family and friends.”
We all have baggage and shit we carry around in our lives; it’s too bad DJ AM had to reach his demise this way. You can see additional photos below of both fans and police at DJ AM’s apartment; police are taking his body to the morgue as fans watch, cry, and take pictures.
