Chevy Chase to return as Fletch

Comedy legend Chevy Chase might be returning to his famous role as Fletch in the upcoming sequel.

Back in the 1980’s, Chevy made Fletch famous, the womanizing journalist from Gregory McDonald’s books.

Rumors have been stirring that other actors including John Cusack, Zach Braff, Jason Lee and Ryan Reynolds are being considered for the role as well.

When asked about the film Chevy Chase commented, “Fletch was one of my favorites. I would love to do another Fletch, and that’s actually a possibility.”

Hmm…it’d be great to see him back in that role, but do you think he is too old at 65?

Robert Pattinson to play Prince Harry in ‘The Spare’ film

Sexy Twilight star Robert Pattinson is rumored to be cast as Prince Harry in the upcoming film ‘The Spare’ that covers the life of Prince Harry.

From vampire to royalty??

One of the most unexpected casting rumors going around is that Robert Pattinson is up for the role of royalty in an upcoming movie about Prince Harry.

According to OK! Weekly, both Robert Pattinson and Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) are up for the lead role.  Shooting begins next year in both England and the Middle East.  Director Peter Kosminsky said:

“I feel a sense of compassion for [Prince Harry]. His parents break up in the most spectacularly public way, his mother dies in the most tragic and, again, public way and everything is picked over.”

Hmm…I wonder who will win the part.  As hot as Rob is, I have a hard time seeing him play a polished, clean cut prince.  We will see.

Rumors have been stirring that pop diva Mariah Carey is pregnant and by the looks of her performance on the Today Show on Friday, I can see why!!

Mariah’s backup dancers struggled to pick her up during their routine.  The muscle men were supposed to hoist her into the air, but struggled several times before they actually got her up!!

Could it be the baby weight?

It’s clear her performance for fans at the Rockefeller Center in NYC was not up to par.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand vacation together in Thailand

British actor and comedian Russell Brand has had his eyes out for pop singer Katy Perry ever since the VMAs this year.  Well, Russell swept Katy off her feed and took the singer to Thailand for a week-long vacation!!

When Katy tweeted about her trip she said:

“After a week in magical Thailand I’m ready to face the real world again. Been schooled on Morrissey, Oscar Wilde & Peter Sellers… inspired.”

Rumors stirred that at the VMA after-party, the two shared a kiss and have been flirting ever since.

I think they are a hot, odd couple.  I’m excited to see where this relationship goes…

Rumors are stirring that rapper Kanye West is considering going to rehab after the scene he made with Taylor Swift at the VMAs.

According to In Touch magazine, family members are strongly urging Kanye to head to treatment for his drinking.  The rapper was also seen on the red carpet arrivals of the VMAs drinking a bottle of Hennessy Cognac.  Lovely.

Let’s hope he can get the help he needs.

‘Friends’ TV show rumored to make movie

That’s right folks, you read it correctly!!  Rumors are stirring that the cast of the hit TV show ‘Friends’ is reuniting on the big screen…according to actor James Michael Tyler, they are filming a movie!!

James played ‘Gunther’ the famous Central Perk coffee shop worker who was in love with Rachel.  He tells News of the World, “Friends: The Movie is definitely on. I still keep in touch with a lot of the cast and they say that they are really keen. I am definitely on board to do the film.  I really loved my time on the show and I am looking forward to meeting up with the old gang again. I just hope we can do justice to the show in a film.”

Even the show’s original creators, David Crane and Marta Kauffman, have been drafted to write and produce the film.

An insider says, “Everyone knew the story had to be right and well written. Getting the creators on board was a massive step forward for the project. The show did lose a lot of its shine in the last few seasons, but with the actors all in the forties it would be a real interest to see how their characters have developed.”

Well I don’t know about you, but after 5 years of reruns, I can’t wait to see the famous cast of six back together… David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox Arquette, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry

Rumors are stirring once again that long-time couple singer Enrique Iglesias and tennis star Anna Kournikova are engaged!!

The two were photographed leaving the Cartier Champs-Elysees boutique in Paris after spending nearly 40 minutes inside.

What a fantastic place to buy a ring…Cartier AND Paris!!  Does it get any better than that?  I don’t think so!!

In April 2008, Anna told People that she was “never getting married” despite Enrique’s desire.  After her statement, he said, “I always try, but she pays me no attention.”

Well that’s just lovely, isn’t it?  Sounds like a bitch if you ask me.  I wonder what her reasons are.  Well regardless, if the rumors are true, congrats to the couple…8 years is longer than most celebs make it married!!

‘Titanic’ in 3D, back in theaters

It’s baaaaack!  That’s right, the famous film that stole our heart of the ocean, ‘Titanic,’ featuring the timeless beauty Kate Winslet and Hollywood hottie Leonardo DiCaprio is coming back to theaters bigger and better…in 3D!!!

“We are certainly interested in exploring the opportunity to re-release some of Lightstorm’s past films in 3D…I don’t think it’s too far into the future. We’re pretty far down the road,” Jon Landau tells The Hollywood Reporter.

I would LOVE to see this film in 3D – this is fantastic news!!  Titantic was great…I remember seeing the film when it first came out and it remains on the top of my list of favs.

We get to see the boat coming out of the screen!!  3D peeps!!  Are you excited??

Khloe Kardashian to marry this weekend

Rumors are stirring from People mag that TV reality star Khloe Kardashian will marry NBA player boyfriend Lamar Odom this weekend.

Wow, that’s fast!!  We reported the two dating just over three weeks ago.

Over the weekend the happy couple went ring shopping.  Now everything is being put together so fast that guests are reportedly being notified via phone that formal invitations will arrive this week.

Sister Kim Kardashian told People, “They’re very, very happy.  Khloe thinks he’s amazing and makes her laugh and smile constantly.”

Now these are just rumors and I bet they aren’t true.  When have you ever known a Kardashian to NOT want to be in the spotlight?  I bet you when Khloe decides to get married the whole thing will be bid out between all the tabloids.  Just saying…

Charlie Sheen leaving “Two and a Half Men”??

Oh no!!  Last night at the Emmy Awards, Charlie Sheen was asking about his role on “Two and a Half Men,” including life plans after the season, and this was his response to Extra:

“I got five kids, I’ve got amazing wife. There is life outside of show business.  It’s been a great run. This is my last contract year, so maybe it’s up to CBS and Warner Bros.”

The show’s a hit!  He can’t leave!!  Even his little brother Dr. Alan Harper (Jon Cryer) received the Emmy for Best Actor in a Comedy Series, so they can’t be done!!

Let’s hope that he renews his contract with CBS after this year; we can’t have the show without the sexy bachelor and children’s song writer.
