Rumors are stirring that actress Anne Hathaway has her eyes set on Jake Gyllenhaal who has recently broken up with long time girlfriend Reese Witherspoon.  The ‘Princess Diaries’ and ‘Prince of Persia: Sands of Time’ duo started crushing on each other while filming ‘Love and Other Drugs’ together. A source says:

“Jake and Anne get along like a house on fire.  They’ve become extremely close. Jake feels he can talk to Anne about anything, including his struggles with Reese. She’s been his shoulder to cry on and a great listener. Anne was deeply shocked when Jake dumped Reese.  She thinks Jake is so sweet. Who knows where this could lead?”

Yes, where will this lead??  Hmm…

Actress Brittany Murphy died early Sunday morning, December 20, 2009 of cardiac arrest at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.  She was 32 years old and most famous for her roles in the films Clueless, 8 Mile, and Girl Interrupted.

May she rest in peace.

Kristen Stewart sings as Joan Jett

Twilight’s leading lady Kristen Stewart has been busy filming ‘The Runaways’ where she plays rocker Joan Jett back in the mid-to-late ‘70s!!  She also plays next to her Twilight ‘New Moon’ costar Dakota Fanning. Kristen says:

“I’ve never played a real person before. I’m excited about the music. It’s intense. I’m going to cinematically deflower Dakota Fanning.”

Kristen even spent some hands-on time with Joan Jett to learn her moves on the guitar and mannerisms.  The film looks pretty good…I hope she acts better in this movie than Twilight.

Taylor Swift to continue acting in Hollywood

Country singer Taylor Swift has her sights set on Hollywood now that she’s conquered the singing world!!  The star has a cameo in the upcoming film ‘Valentine’s Day’ and hopes it will lead to more lead acting roles.

“It’s a small role, but it’s something I’m really excited about. I’d love to explore the possibility of maybe going down that path [acting],” she says.

If you dream it you can do it Tay!! Wait for Taylor’s acting debut in ‘Valentine’s Day’ to hit theaters February 2010.

Let me just start by saying how much I looove Jennifer Lopez.  This beautiful Hollywood star sat down with Allure magazine as part of their January 2010 issue to talk about herself as a mom and her image as a celebrity.

About working out:

“Part of my business is being in shape and looking good. You can’t lie to yourself about it. But I’m not the monster I used to be in the exercise department.”

About her twins, Max and Emme:

“To a certain extent, having children did change me, but it made me want to look at the places that I wasn’t great and learn to love myself.”

About her career:

“It wasn’t like it was with Marc, who opened his mouth at age three and was blessed with a voice from God. That wasn’t me. I had to work at it, but I knew that once I had achieved it, people would respond to me in a certain way.”

Two of Hollywood’s favorite actors are teaming up in a Viking film that will start production Fall 2010.  Leonardo DiCaprio and Mel Gibson will work together, along with Producer Graham King who says:

“This will be an awe-inspiring story, created with some of the industry’s finest cinematic talent and I am just over the moon to be making this film with Mel, Leo and Bill [screenwriter William Monahan].”

I can’t wait to hear more about this film…Leo and Mel, that’s quite the duo!

Kate Hudson and A-Rod split up

Is it finally over?!!  Rumors are stirring that Kate Hudson and Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez have split up!!  While Kate was promoting her new film ‘Nine,’ A-Rod was partying it up in Miami.  A source said, “He was acting VERY single, and Kate Hudson was definitely not there. Kate and A-Rod broke up.”

Apparently A-Rod was having a bit too much fun with two women at the Wall Lounge in the W Hotel.  Now that the Yankee’s won the World Series, he doesn’t need his lucky charm Kate anymore.

Neither of their publicists has commented on the situation.  So what do you think…splitsville or no?
