Nothing says Merry Christmas like a domestic abuse call to 911 and that’s exactly what happened on December 26 with Charlie Sheen and his wife Brooke Mueller while the couple was vacationing in Aspen, Colorado.

The 911 call was placed by Brooke at 8:34 a.m.  She was drunk (yes, at 8:34 a.m.) and called to report “domestic abuse,” telling the dispatcher that Charlie attacked her with a “switch blade.” She continued to say that her family is keeping them apart, and that Charlie is trying to leave in the other room and he still has the knife, while she is in the kitchen, where the rest of the knives in the house are.

When the cops arrived, they gave breathalyzer tests to the couple, Brooke blowing a whopping 0.13 (well above the legal limit) and Charlie with a 0.04, but the Two and a Half Men star was still arrested on felony second degree assault, felony menacing, and criminal mischief and taken to jail. He was later released on bail.

Later Brooke told a female officer that she lied about Charlie having a knife when she placed the 911 call.  What a joke.

Charlie’s court date is for February 8, 2010.
