Do I hear wedding bells?? Yankee’s short-stop Derek Jeter is finally getting married to Minka Kelly. The two were secretly engaged over the summer and have finally set a wedding date.
A source revealed seeing “Jeter wedding” scheduled in the Oheka Castle (the same place Kevin Jonas got married last week) for November 5, 2010.

Bye bye Simon! First it was Paula’s turn, now FOX’s American Idol is saying goodbye to the infamous Simon Cowell after Season 9 wraps up this year. He told reporters on Monday that he will be leaving to pursue other options:
“The X Factor will launch in 2011. Because of that, this will be my last season on American Idol. I’m thrilled that we have put a date on the launch of the U.S. version of The X Factor, and delighted to be continuing to work with FOX. We have a fantastic relationship, a great team and are all very excited about this.”
Simon launched the original X Factor in the U.K. and hopes to make it successful in the U.S by serving as the executive producer and a judge on the show.

The infamous Octomom, Nadya Suleman, isn’t the only one getting attention from her ordeal. Dr. Michael Kamrava is being accused of negligence by the Medical Board of California because he acted beyond the reasonable judgment of a physician by repeatedly providing fertility treatments to Nadya.
The Board has demanded the “revoking or suspending” of Kamrava’s Physician and Surgeon’s license.
Socialite Paris Hilton has spoken out about the death of fellow heiress Casey Johnson. She tells Life & Style magazine:
“I am devastated to hear this news. I’ve known Casey since I was a baby. She had a big heart and she was a good friend. I feel so sad, I don’t want to believe it. My condolences go out to her family and loved ones.”
So far, LAPD have confirmed that Casey’s death was “natural” and that no foul play was suspected. Natural at age 30? Seriously??
Successful actor Vince Vaughn and his fiance, real estate agent Kyla Weber, got married last weekend just outside Chicago in a small ceremony.
Family and close friends attended the big day in Vince’s home town; it was a wonderful day for all!!

Hollywood hotties Rihanna and Justin Timberlake are rumored to be having a secret romance!! RiRi talks about getting closer to JT, her “sexy little secret,” as his relationship with Jessica Biel ran into problems last year. A source close to Rihanna told the Daily Star:
“She’s getting close to Justin again and it’s getting hot. Rihanna called a friend and said she had a sexy little secret to share. She started laughing and said, ‘Don’t trip, but I have hooked up with Justin.’ She said it was really good, hot and wild and that they have some of the best make out sessions she’s ever experienced. She’s only out with the physical with him. And it looks like she got it.”
But despite a tell-all from this source, Rihanna still claims their relationship is plutonic, denying their relationship in an interview last month.
“No, that rumor about Justin is incorrect. We worked together on my album. It’s not like we have the closest friendship. We just worked together one time.”

Even though they don’t need it, Angelina Jolie’s kids can’t touch the trust money left to them by Angie’s mom, Marcheline Bertrand, under they turn 25.
A large portion of Marcheline’s estate was left to Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh, three of the Jolie-Pitt kids, in the amount of $100,000 each. But according to legal paperwork, the money has been placed into trust funds that can’t be accessed until they are 25 years old.
Pax was adopted two months after Marcheline’s death in January 2007, and twins Knox and Vivienne were born in July 2008, therefore not included in the will.
Socialite and Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson has passed away. The 30-year-old’s body was discovered Monday morning in Los Angeles. Apparently she had been dead for several days before her body was found. How awful!!
The cause of death is undetermined, pending an autopsy. Casey’s hard-partying ways have caused her to struggle with drug and alcohol problems for years. In fact, they recently left a shift in rehab…she left early.

Singer Jordan Sparks has increased her security details after receiving a bunch of letters from a “creepy” fan. She told British newspaper Metro:
“I was in London when that happened to Leona Lewis. What’s wrong with people? I’ve never been physically harmed but there is one guy we’re suspicious of. I think he has issues. He’s proposed marriage to me in letters several times and he’s sent me a cell phone to call him on. It was very creepy. My security people are keeping their eyes open.”

The Proposal’s funny female duo will be together once again on January 23, 2010 where Sandra Bullock will present co-star and fellow actress Betty While with a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Life Achievement Award.
Betty will be honored during the 16th Annuals SAG Award at the Shrine Exposition Center in LA. The Golden Girl is 87 years old and has been in television for more than six decades. She’s also an animal-rights activist, supporting groups such as Actors and Others for Animals and the Morris Animal Foundation.
