Kitson owners mad at Lindsay Lohan

The cat’s out of the bag this time and not afraid to say it!  The owners of the famous celebrity store Kitson are mad at Lindsay Lohan.  Last week Lindsay threw a tantrum at the Kitson staff after trying to get $15,000 worth of free swag from them.

The owners said they are “really offended” with her behavior and that she would be lucky they are still selling her 6126 leggings line that she has failed to promote. Kitson spent $50,000 on her line, but Lilo has failed to come into the store in three years to promote it.  The rep for Kitson said they are not sure if they will continue to carry her leggings.

What a jack ass.

Country pop star Taylor Swift cleaned up at the AMAs in Los Angeles Sunday night with five awards!!  Taylor accepted her awards via satellite where she was preparing for her show in London.  She took home:

  • Artist of the Year
  • Favorite Pop/Rock Female
  • Favorite Country Female
  • Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist
  • Favorite Country Music Album

2009 American Music Award winners

The 2009 American Music Awards were a hit Sunday night at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.  Taylor Swift and Michael Jackson cleaned up the awards, but there were plenty of other winners and fantastic performances  as well.

There were performances from Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, Jay-Z and Alicia Keys, Green Day, Shakira, Eminem and 50 Cent, Timbaland and Nelly Furtado, Carrie Underwood, Janet Jackson, Adam Lambert and more!!

Jennifer Lopez falls during AMA performance, video

Whooops!!  Jennifer Lopez put on a high energy, boxing style performance for her song ‘Louboutins’  during the AMA’s last night, but took a slight fall.  I guess J. Lo’s Louboutins didn’t hold up like she planned!!  She recovered quickly though – way to go!!

Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am even commented on her performance saying, “That shows she’s a true entertainer and devoted. She came out of it and still rocked it. It doesn’t matter how you fall – just how you get up. She got up.”

So how did sexy vampire Alice (Ashley Grene) get in shape for “The Twilight Saga: New Moon”?

“It was really easy. We were working 12 hours a day, so it didn’t leave too much time to eat. We had a personal trainer and then we also had fight training. It was a good four hours a day of training,” Ashley tells Usmagazine.

Oh fantastic.  What great advice – to look like me, just stop eating.  Great.  Hell, at least she’s honest.

Ashley does love to do Pilates, making that her workout of choice six days a week!! “I do it early in the morning. It wakes you up, and it’s kind of refreshing. And that is basically it. Sometimes cardio. I am not a big weight person because when I do weights I build muscle mass.”

Wow!  Did you see former American Idol runner up Adam Lambert’s performance at the AMAs last night?  If not, we’ve got the video here…not only does he give a killer, raunchy performance, but the singer literally falls, rolls, and tumbles on stage!!  He recovered quickly by grinding against one of the dancers’ legs!

Twilight New Moon has third biggest opening weekend in film history

More than doubling the first film in the series, ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ grossed $140.7 million this weekend, making it the third biggest opening weekend in film history!!

“I dare say in all the office pools, I don’t think anyone had near this top gross,” says Summit Entertainment Distribution President Richie Fay.

So what are the top two films?

Heath Ledger’s ‘The Dark Knight’ still remains the top-grossing weekend box office film, bringing in $158.4 million in 2008, and Spider-Man 3 hold the second place slot with $151.1 million during its opening weekend in 2007.

“Luke and I are engaged and we’ll get married when I want to. But he isn’t even 21 yet, so he can’t drink in America, so what’s the point in getting married until he can?” Kelly explains.

Nick Lachey to host new show ‘The Sing-Off’

Singer Nick Lachey is set to host a new show on NBC called ‘The Sing-Off’ that will feature eight singing groups.  So what makes this show any better, or different, than any other reality singing show out there?  Well, ‘The Sing-Off’ singing groups have to perform a cappella…no music.

“There is nowhere to hide when you’re doing an a cappella song. There’s no band behind you and dubbing. It’s just you. It’s just them naked on stage and what they have done to prepare is what will show through in that moment,” Nick tells People.

These eight talented groups will be competing for a contract with Epic Records/Sony Recording. ‘The Sing-Off’ will premiere on December 14, 2009 for a four-night series on NBC.

Celebrities comment on Oprah leaving daytime television

After Oprah’s big announcement to leave daytime television after 25 seasons, some of her close friends and celebrities commented on The Oprah Winfrey Show’s September 2011 split from TV.

Her bestie Gayle King said:

“I think that Oprah always makes the best decision for herself. I really do. And I have a feeling she will come up with some things to do. She has a very full life…We don’t need to worry about her filling her time, I promise you that! Life is good for her.”

Ellen DeGeneres commented:

“Hey listen, I’m going to tell you some news you’re going to hear as soon as you go out into the world, when you leave here. Right before I came out here, I got a call from Oprah and she told me that she is announcing that next year will be her last year. It will be her 25th year, and she feels like it’s time for her to stop…I don’t think I could be here without her. I think she has blazed a trail…She is an amazing woman…She will always be the Queen of Daytime Television.”

And finally Martha Stewart noted:

“She’ll do another show. She’s evolving. She’s fabulous.”

Yeah, I think she is definitely going to have another show…this time on her OWN network, but what will it be??
